History

      P.G. Records was started seven years ago in 2003 in the heart of Detroit. In 2003 Two young men Andre and Mandez thought of the idea to start making music. They started recording music from their cars onto their cell phones. They were able to record many songs such as Why, Dinner by Candlelight and So Soon. These songs were well known by people around the city and recieved rave reviews from many of the cities radio stations. They didn't have much luck finding a record label that suited them and would do their music the way they wanted it to be done.

      At that time, they formed the duo, The Perfect Gentlemen, but had to take a break due to their busy schedules with school and work. In 2005 The Perfect Gentlemen regrouped and started some new songs as well as P.G. Records. They felt that it would be easier and suit them better if the started their own label where they made all of the decisions and didn't have to worry about anyone trying to change anything about them, whether its their image, music, lyrics or whatever. Since then, P.G. Records has signed one other artist Mr. Rio, a rapper from Detroit and Mandez, Mr. Fancy, and Andre, Thenewbreed has started working on individual projects but the duo keeps The Perfect Gentlemen, as their top focus. P.G. Records strives to be the best and soon they will be known across the world with some of the worlds top music artists
